At the end of December 2015, the Southern Africa Trade Hub officially presented the Oracle Sustainable Innovation Award 2015 to the Southern Africa Regional Mission in Pretoria, South Africa.
The prestigious Oracle Sustainable Innovation Award 2015 was given to USAID’s Southern Africa Trade Hub and its South Africa-based software development partner, AppSolve, as a result of the cutting-edge Warehouse Receipts System IT programs developed for Zambia and Mozambique. The Trade Hub was one of five awardees this year (including CISCO) as selected by a voting board at Oracle in San Francisco, California. The award consisted of a placard and trophy celebrating the noteworthy achievement and the opportunity to meet with the Vice Chairman and the Chief Sustainability Officer of Oracle.
The Oracle Excellence Awards program recognizes customers and partners that excel at driving business value and delivering change. The Sustainable Innovation Award concentrates on the use of technology to support sustainability and efforts that improve conditions for others.
