On January 11, 2016 in Beira and January 13, 2016 in Chimoio, workshops offered Cargill management and staff training on accessing the IT platform; the methods of information collection, compilation, and redistribution through the web; registration for users in order to receive mobile messaging; help desk access; and field data coordination with participating partners including NGO CLUSA (Cooperative League of the USA), Banco de Oportunidade, Cargill, and ETG.

The MIS is part of the Trade Hub’s efforts to establish the Warehouse Receipts System in Mozambique and has been funded through the Strategic Partnership Grant program to support structured agricultural trade in the Feed-the-Future country of Mozambique.
