Malawi’s Commissioner of Statistics, Mercy Kanyuka, welcomed the Trade Hub and the initiative of the National Single Window project as an important and necessary tool for the benefit of Malawi. Mrs. Kanyuka stressed the need for the NSO to be a regular participant and contributor to the project as it unfolds. As the recipient of trade data and producer of national statistics, the NSO needs to be certain that the Single Window system can either integrate with their own Eurotrace system or produce meaningful statistics for their analysis and publication. The Trade Hub will be inviting staff of the NSO to attend an upcoming workshop for Data and Document Harmonization in October 2015.
