The Trade Hub’s Alistair Gall with Lauren Scott and Goitseone Montsho, the Economic/Commercial Specialist from the US Embassy to BotswanaOn December 4, 2015, USAID's Southern Africa Trade Hub hosted Lauren Scott, the Economic Officer for Africa within the Office of Bilateral Trade Affairs at the State Department, at the Trade Hub offices in Gaborone, Botswana. 

The Trade Hub gave a briefing on its activities to Ms. Scott, who supports various trade initiatives in Sub-Saharan Africa including AGOA, Trade Africa, and engagement on Trade and Investment Framework Agreements.

The briefing outlined the scope and regional integration activities of the Trade Hub as well as other items of relevance to strategic planning efforts on Africa trade policy priorities across the U.S. government. The visit was accompanied by Goitseone Montsho, the Economic/Commercial Specialist from the US Embassy to Botswana
