USAID Visits Mozambique GranteesUSAID Southern Africa Director of the Regional Economic Growth Office, Mark Wilt and Bill Benjamin, USAID’s Feed the Future Coordinator and Agriculture Team Leader toured the Cargill facility in Catandica, Mozambique, which is being upgraded through a Strategic Partnership Grant.

USAID management also visited Intertek laboratories for a tour as the grantee works towards gaining ISO 17205 accreditation within the next 2-3 years. They also took a tour of the 8,000 metric ton warehouse being built in Chimoio through a Strategic Partnership Grant with ETG. Finally, they were briefed on the activities of grantee Solidaridad, which include farmer training on agronomic practice, aflatoxin control, and soil improvements.
